Farris has just won 5 games from a set and 2-5 down to take Nakagawa into a decider

Edit: Make that 6 games in a row - he has now broken at the start of the 3rd ... but Nakagawa breaks back immediately.game.

6-7(6) 7-5 1-1*

His efforts this week (so far) will see Farris climb about 200 places in the rankings to the 920s. If he can go on to win the tournament, he will rise another 100 places approx.

Your rankings estimate is about right but he is ranked 1216 at the moment, so it'll actually lift him nearly 300 places (or 400 if he wins the title)

He is also now figuring in the 'battle' for the last spot in the GB top 25 table - Jamie Whiteford will take it on Monday (assuming I've calculated the tiebreak among the 3 players who'll have 16 points correctly) despite not having played this year, since Toby Martin has a QF coming off, but at the end of RG, Toby and Dan Dowson will both have 17 points to Jamie's 16, while Farris will now have 16 too. All of these players could add points between now and the end of RG, of course, but if Farris wins tomorrow, he'll probably put the winner of that little contest beyond doubt.
