Having said how good it was to see Billy back on court, I see he has now been replaced by an Alternate. I am not sure if that means he has sneaked into the MD or whether he has pulled out. The Top seed in qualies was also replaced by an alternate but the Nºs 2&3 are still there.

Ah, I see Billy was behind the q2 and q3 seeds on the acceptance list so unfortunately I can't see that he would get into the main draw before either of them.

OK. My spies tell me that Billy's shoulder is fine, but he hurt his back during serve practice. He still hopes to play next week so it doesn't seem too bad.
