Liam just tweeted that he was preparing for the MD at Notts and added an instagram shot of himself practicing at the indoor tennis centre in Nottingham. That is one wild card confirmed I guess.

So Brydan getting a MD WC here indicative that he's getting / got a Wimbledon MD WC and avoiding qualifying ?

Nottingham main draw published before qualifying draw.

We know Jay Clarke has one of the wildcards, I suspect Ryan Storrie, Jonny O'Mara and Luke Banbridge may have the others. Josh Milton should have made qualifying automatically.

Just two wildcards, Jay and Ryan. Milts got in automatically, Lloyd as an alt.
A bit risky by Lloyd as he has a reasonable draw with Wimbledon qualifiers to make.

You'd think so, but in the past they've given wild cards like that as a kind of consolation prize.  I hope they've stopped being that silly though, especially given that he was clearly on the borderline (indeed, he'd probably be ahead of Alex and Liam if he hadn't been injured in recent weeks)  and seems to have done enough this week to put himself on the right side of that borderline ... and another factor that suggests you're right is that I find it hard to believe he'd accept a MD WC here if it meant giving up on a chance to qualify for Wimbledon.
