In Namibia, G5, Erika (born 2001) made good use of her LL spot:

Girls R1 (32): (LL) Erika BATISTA DODRIDGE (GBR)     6-0 6-0     Taimi NASHIKU (NAM)

Boys R1 (48): Zyaan AHMED (GBR)     4-6 7-5 6-0     Kevin PATEL (IND)

Zyaan won his dubs too.

 

In Morocco, G3, Adam Jones carries on the doubles success, with singles tomorrow:

R1: Omar ELKADI (EGY) / Adam JONES (GBR) [4]     6-1 3-6 [11-9]     Gabriel CURRLIN (SUI) / Aaron SCHMID (SUI)

 

In Turkey, G4,

Namibia G5:

Complete washout in Namibia (in tennis terms, not weather!). But both our players were playing the top seeds so.

2nd Round

2nd Round

They both lost their doubles too.

In Morocco, Adam couldn't follow up his fine win yesterday:

R2: Sebastian GRUNDTVIG (DEN) 6-3 6-2 Adam JONES (GBR)

Him and his partner declared w/o in the doubles although that must be down to his partner, not Adam, as his partner won a long singles, had to play again and retired in that.


In Turkey, Eleanor+ are through to the semis:

QF: Eleanor SCARFF (GBR) / Adriana SENKAROVA (SVK) [5] 2-6 7-5 [10-8] Nevena SOKOVIC (SRB) / Denise-Antonela STOICA (ROU)
