Katie Swan's campaign to try and win the French Open starts here. Live streams should be available at http://www.tcsantacroce.com/live/ and live scores possibly via the same link or at http://www.tennisscores.de/livescore/itfjun/livescorer.html Ewan Moore plays tomorrow on an unstreamed court
Vanessa Wong it is first up for Katie. VW's form this year has not been good - a quarter-final last week followed 5 straight losses. Tomorrow's oop shows Ewan followed by Emily at 7.30 BST on court 1 and Katie fifth on court 3 ( from memory of previous years the courts do not always correspond to the streaming links ) Katie is top seeded in doubles with Charlotte Robillard-Millette (Emily and partner seeded 3)
Boys R2
(10) Sam Riffice (USA) v Ewan Moore (GBR)
Girls R2
(1) Katie Swan v Vanessa Wong (CAN)
(6) Emily Appleton v (WC) Martina Biagianti (ITA)
Katie's on, following 2seed and K's doubles partner, Robilett-etc, who got trounced.
Robillard-Millette had a pretty lengthy medical timeout in the middle of the second set, so I wouldn't be surprised if the two don't take to the court for doubles.
I think the scoreline does flatter Wong a little, mainly the final set score. Katie was the better player for most of the game, but Wong did take advantage of the small lapses in concentration where Katie's shots were going a little bit wild.
