No, not to be...

7-6, 6-1

Fantastic battling in set 1; head dropped a bit in set 2. She must be knackered.

Should be off to enjoy sitting out qualifiers in Italy next week, taking an SE and joining her new peers in the MD. Her new ranking of around 286 would have made her 13th in the MD acceptance list, up from 11th in qualifiers, based on her ranking of just a few weeks back.

A hat-trick tournament, perhaps?

After a best-ever 31 points in Chiasso, bettered by a further 41 points here, could this be bested yet by 50 points in Caserta? A bit of a long shot, but on this form, less than 31/1...

Well played to her, and thanks to the tournament for some very good quality livestreams.
