Week 19 - Challenger ($100,000+H) - Seoul, South Korea (Hard)

The qualifying draw and oop for qualies is out:  http://www.atpworldtour.com/en/atp-challenger-tour

Liam is top seed.  I haven't heard of any of the players are boys are against.  Unfortunately, they are all in the top half of the draw.

Meh. Could they please at some point create a draw that doesn't pit our lot against each other? (Hoping that Mr Glasspool gets past Clay Thompson, who is a nasty draw - streaky, but can be very good ... watched him play in a Challenger many of our players were in last year)

If we're lucky Liam can sneak into the md as an alt, clearing the path for Lloyd to qualify......

Chances of that happening is pretty unlikely. You need someone to withdraw from the main draw prior to 10:00 AM local time tomorrow morning when the first qualifying match starts.

Generally when you see alts in the draw it is because a player has withdrawn on the Friday afternoon. After midday US Eastern Time Zone withdrawals are replaced by alts not the next person on the acceptance list.

In QR1, Ed won 5 & 4 , Lloyd was beaten 4-6 7-6(1) 6-3 and James won 3-6 6-4 6-4

In the main draw, 4th seed Evo has drawn Zemlja, who is currently leading the other semi-final in Busan!

And if Liam qualifies there is a strong chance of Milkman in either R1 or R2 as there are qualifiers playing him in R1 or a QvQ in R2. The other qualifier spot is against a WC so a good chance for some decent points for the boys here.

L32:  (4) Dan Evans WR 97 (= CH) vs Grega Zemlja (SLO) WR 159 (CH = 43 in July 2013)

The Milkman's the top seed this time & Dan's in his half of the draw.

Kravchuk is also in Dan's half, but is in Millman's quarter, so there's no chance of a 3rd final in a row against the same player.

Stircrazy's crystal ball is showing that Grega has a very long career ahead of him.
