Eastbourne is now opening up nicely and there is a small chance some of the GB players could make the main draw with some players still in Paris

Laura Robson make take up a wildcard that looked like going to Tara - hopefully Tara can make the main draw directly to compensate.

Harriet and Freya have now withdrawn presumably as they are in Korea.

Katy is still on the list - Tara is up to 5th alt and there are still a few girls playing doubles at RG that may be forced to withdraw.

No wildcards showing yet - but may well be Tara and Katy plus Sam and Lisa now

I assume Freya and Harriet were the other two plus Robbo, so I suspect they are looking through the list for likely candidates as Freya and Harriet have withdrawn.

Wang, Hlavackova and Kudryavtseva all still playing doubles so may be withdrawn automatically if still playing - Tara may yet still sneak in (There may be more that I missed)

Okay - my lunatic conspiracy theory - they've given 1 MDWC to Robbo, and they're holding the missing one for Watson, until enough results from RG R2 are in, and they're convinced that it's mathematically impossible that Heather will definitely make the Olympics.

That gives the LTA 3 extra shots at getting a medal in WS, WD, and mixed - any of which pumps a few extra million quid into the quangocracy coffers, and lets the LTA hire more blazers.

So they'll prioritise that, and if Heather does need a dozen extra points or so, both she and Laura will play Eastbourne - to the delight of the organisers.

Laura D has been struggling with injuries, but has entered for Israel over next few weeks.

Anna B is based in the US, but we haven't seen too much of her, so I suspect she may be injured.

Have seen that Laura D is playing at Felixstowe, but no ITF entries - no sign of Anna B at all - still confused confuse

Laura D not at Felixstowe, although she did turn out for her club at the weekend. Rumour (and I don't know Laura so this might be wildly inaccurate rumour) going round that she's had minor surgery after falling off a go-kart!!

Tara has a MDWC for Eastbourne now. Can't see any more, so I presume the one mystery one will go to Robson.

James Ward will probably get into Manchester directly which will free up a wildcard. I assume Klein, Glasspool, Broady and A Ward will get them.

Still yet to see Evo, James Ward or Glasspool play live. (Evo has entered/not played a couple of times, Glasspool had already played when I arrived etc)
