Does anyone know if Kyle has a coach traveling with him at the moment ? I know his dad is on the road with him, but I have seen tweets from Ryan Jones working at the NTC in the UK over the last week or so. Just wondering if anyone else is working with Kyle right now.

His coach prior to Beechy was with him in Portugal ( John Black ), I mentioned it in that thread, and as I got no reaction I assumed I was a bit slow on the uptake, but maybe not !

Thanks Phil.  Didn't see that in the other thread. I wonder if this constant change of coaching is working.  To be honest, his timing on the 1st serve seems all over the place.  Not sure if the conditions are tricky.  There is a lot of wind in the microphone but that can be deceiving sometimes as the umbrella isn't blowing around that much.

The rest of his game isn't great today either and he has just gone from 2-0* up to 2-4* down.

From 2-0 up in the second, Kyle now trails 2-5.

I think it's a little bit breezy (12mph ), and I thought Kyle played well enough in Portugal, difficult to tell whether the coaching change is affecting him overly.

Agree.  There are always many factors and to identify any one is almost impossible.  He just doesn't seem to have much confidence in his ball striking today.  Perhaps that is just me, or maybe just an off day.  Everyone has them.

Kyle holds from 15-30 in the opening game of the decider.

Conditions clarly getting worse and play is suspended for the rain. A pity really as Kyle is already 3-0* up in the 3rd.

Looks like they might just be waiting for a shower to pass as the players are still on court.

Edit

Cancel that.  They have now headed to the locker room.

Maybe born in SA, but 100 % bred in Yorkshire.
