Lisa Phillips might get a scorer and I didn't think I'd ever say that....
Yes
Good luck to her
Excellent draw for the Japanese girl though....
In fact I was a bit harsh in that she already has a scorer beating Louie McMclelland at Surbiton. However having seen her play a couple of times, I'm not convinced she is capable yet of beating a ranked player on the main tour.
Has anyone seen Eleni Daniilidou play recently? She was a top 15 player that had fallen on harder times, but she now cannot seem to win two matches at $10K level (including a fairly pedestrian loss to an unknown in this one)?

She's been falling in the rankings for the past few years, I think it's more likely to be a long semi-retirement than anything serious.

Since her injury in 2008 she's never really recovered. There have been multiple surgeries on multiple things. She may not have managed those injuries to her best advantage, and often tried to play through them. I remember her match in the Athens Olympics, cramping acutely. She played on, falling to the ground repeatedly in agony. She somehow won that match, in front of an adoring crowd, but it was probably more prudent to retire as it may have been several times thereafter in her career. You can see it yourself - Fair Warning though, it is not happy viewing:
Spoiler
As a result of the seeming lack of a healthy sense of self-preservation, the real problem, her knees, are little more now than hope and memories. She's also 33, and even in the new paradigm, of the longer, later career for female tennis players, she'd be at the tail end of her career.
Lovely player; a stylist, and a flashing blade of a backhand.
