Given Rafa's form on clay so far this year, that might be an even better win than the victory over him in the final last year. Great stuff.

I think it most certainly is. There were question marks about Rafa's form last year, and it was very difficult to tell just what level he was playing at. Andy was supreme in that final, but it was a bit straight-forward.

This time however Rafa has clearly demonstrated a return to form - not the level he was at a few years ago, perhaps, but clearly playing well. To end his 13-match hot streak is quite impressive.

Could be a cracking final if Andy plays like has all week. Big if though, as form seems to go out the window when he plays Novak. Maybe Kei can do us a favour...

Final:  (1) Novak Djokovic (SRB) WR 1 vs (2) Andy Murray WR 2

Probably not the organisers' dream final.  Not going to bother with the full head-to-head.  It's too depressing (9-22). cry

I fancy Andy's chances against Novak more on this surface than I do on hard. So no doubt he'll probably get dismantled now.
