Nick Nugent's has pitched up quite a bit recently in BTs and 10K Qs. Was quite a strong junior in UK domestic competitions up until 14-15 when he had major back surgery. I was very surprised, but delighted, to see him playing again. He's a charming young man and did show a lot of promise earlier.
Sorry, but this makes a mockery of any tournament. In the MD, we have 1 player ranked inside the Top 500 (Nys at 427) and here we are with a player ranked 247 in Qualifying. If you don't enter on time, you shouldn't be allowed to play.

Yes, I don't know how many times we've all agreed on this but no one seems to take any notice !!!
The tournament can give wildcards into the main draw.
So if they want the Austrian so much (for crowd reasons???), let them give him a MD wildcard.
And if they've used up all their wildcards, so be it....next time, maybe he'll enter on time......
