All the lists I have seen has Liam still as 4th alt. There are 2 SEs to clear but it is possible that they won't.

I don't know how much access Liam has had to coaching support this year but perhaps having had that recently with Hilts allows a level of pyschological verification, reinforcement and support of a positive mental attitude on court, surely when you are struggling that mental discipline is the first thing to drift as doubt sets in.

I didn't expect Liam to win, but.....0&0 is very rare in men's tennis. Just hope he can rebound. Dan's match is good, lots of long rallies as I thought there wouuld be. Dan has a slight edge, but is showing occasional frustration - just one second ago "Hit the phucking ball".....Lucky they are in Korea!

Liam got double bagelled. Got only 35% of first serves, well down on his usual level, so he may be struggling with a hopefully minor injury.

Pretty horrific scoreline for Liam, though it was always going to be a big ask to win that match. Hopefully Evo can finish Sugita off as I need a positive boost this morning for an interview!

Anyway, another very solid win for Dan, so he's up next, let's see how he gets on... I fear the milkman's ability to return absolutely everything may be too much but hope am wrong!

Dan wins 2&3, a good performance overall. He faced one or two BPs, but the result was never in doubt. Dan is maintaining focus and intensity. His UE count was low (haven't looked at the stats though). His occasional commentary might be a problem at wimbledon....
