I know what you mean, SC, (who?) although it's nice to see new names.
I've definitely seen Lee Tribe somewhere (British Tour? Some Q draw somewhere?)
I think he's a young coach (assistant coach?) at one of the David Lloyd places too.
Vidal is still one of my pet faves - I realise that it is a fiver that is looking well, well out of the money, but I saw him play in February and still don't understand why he hasn't managed to do better. However, he's still pretty young (only 19), and I wouldn't take the fiver off (even if I could). He's bulked out a fair bit, too (hardly chunky but gone from being a VERY gangly 16 year-old) which takes a bit of adjusting to.
This is getting confusing. After all the talk of "new Dan" over in the Taipei thread, I was wondering what on earth Dan Evans was doing going from the Asian swing (where he seemed safely lodged and with potential to get into the top 100) to a 10K on clay in Spain. Then remembered the "newly GBR" Dan Dowson. Think we need to give him a new moniker.
Figure someone you think that highly of must have potential
To be honest, I have quite a few 'pet faves' and they're often for different reasons i.e. not always because I think they're top stars of the future.
But I have a system of betting a fiver on them all, to be either top 100, top 200 or top 500, depending on what I reckon and the odds (but it's always done when they're completely unranked/unknown, so it's a real pot luck gamble). Enrique is in the top 500. And if he never gets anywhere near, I'll be sad for him (if it was what he tried and failed) but not sad for my fiver - that just adds a bit of interest.
And I've never talked to him (and I think if ever you were seriously going to invest in someone, the person is as important as the tennis). But when you see him play, there's exciting stuff there.

Noo.... I think CD as a master of new technology and social media guru has cleverly christened him, for me he will have to share the moniker of the Internet sensation and has to be
Damn Daniel .... of the "Back at it again in the white vans" fame. 250k retweets and 330k likes makes Steven look like an amateur
Very useful turn of phrase to really upset any kid under the age of 16 who struts up to training in a pair of outrageous trainers or indeed posing in flash clobber.

Yes, I definitely thought there was something about Enrique, although last time I saw him play he was still in the very gangly stage. I believe he moved to Spain, where he had family, after his GCSEs as his parents thought it would be cheaper there for him to pursue his sport than in the UK. That was the story going round anyway. Not sure if he's still there or how it worked out.
