Tara continuing in the right general direction little by little.
She'll face a very tricky prospect to progress in the form of the winner of the match currently live on the USTA stream between Rebecca Peterson & Taylor Townsend - good match too.

Well I'd want Taylor to win then, just because if she does, by dint of playing an American, Tara will almost certainly get on the streamed court, which would be really good to see; not often we've had the chance of late in singles.

Taylor got revenge in 3 sets for losing last week's Dothan 50K final to Peterson. Was going to be very tough either way, with Taylor certainly seeming to have found her mojo.

I think Tara will do well to stay with Taylor who is massively underranked top 50 quality player on her day. Tara will need to serve well to have a chance.

Weather causing shenanigans in Charlottesville.
Taylor is currently on the livestream playing a doubles, indoors.
I'd presume then that Tara's singles has already been cancelled for the day, as it is a very long time since I heard of a player being made to play a doubles before a singles on the same day.
All of which is now reflected in the official OoP.
