Wimbledon Accessibility

Thanks Oakland. I will look at cost and return times. I will be staying with friends in the UK who are frequent train users so I am sure I can pick their brains too.

My trip to the UK is confirmed and I will definitely be attending the qualies at Roehampton. Hoping to put a few faces to names while I am there.

Both in reality, although I was talking more about forumites here.

Given the current weather forecast only the almighty can tell you that but I believe that they normally schedule play to start at 11:00.

I hadn't realised qualifying started as early as Monday. But I now see that it is ( scheduled to be ) Monday until Thursday.

Any signs of a draw and/or an OoP ?

Another question for my WImbledon experts. I have a standard Ground Pass. Which courts are accessible ? Clearly Centre Court and Court 1 are out so no James Ward or Laura Robson for me tomorrow. But we also have the following playing.

Court 2 : Kyle
Court 3 : Alex W & Naomi
Court 17 : Brydan & Marcus
Court 18 : Evo

Courts 2 & 3 are show courts so you cant go there Bob. 17 & 18 are fair game though. If you cant get on and are queuing, it amazes me the sheer number of people that leave at the end of every set, regardless of score. Dont ever give up! Once on though, your seat cannot be held (ie for toilet break) so take the view that your are going on to a court until your tennis interest has ended, no exceptions.

Question for you. How on earth have you got a ground pass?

Court 2 is ticket only, Court 3 is mainly ticket only but has a small number of unreserved seats which you can queue up for. All the rest are unreserved seating.

Do have a ticket already? If you hit the queue around now you might be able to get show court tickets.

Not in the queue.  Sitting in my friends house in leafy commuter land.  Have my ground pass in my pocket.
