I knew I had used it before but couldn't remember when, and couldn't be arsed to search for it. If you hadn't confessed I would have let you take the credit.

Combination of complete boredom here in Brazil (no TV for a week - it's broken) and also trying to remember which years I went to Marseille. Couldn't remember if I was there in 2013 or not.  Turns out I wasn't.  I went in 2014 & 2015.

I remember your account of your car journey there one of those years, when you'd decided to go at the last moment

I have had a few "mad" car journeys in my time but I specifically remember that one in 2015.  I arrived home from Brazil at 6pm on the Friday evening after 21 hours non-stop traveling with overnight flight and by 8pm, I was on the road for the 10 hour drive to Marseille.  Got there just in time the next day to see Josh Milton win. Worth every kilometre though with 9 Brits in the tournament that year.

Happy days.

So bored right now, I might go back and read that thread too disbelief
