Good stuff. Mr Bambridge has 59 points to defend before Wimbledon from Challengers wins last year - so wins at the 25K level are all to the good! If this (or another) partnership works, who knows ... could be in the 200s again by May/June ... or even higher ...
Darren certainly too could probably do with a regular partner to help him get back into the top 200.
Probably more of an issue for Darren in that he is a committed doubles specialist while I am very reluctant to see Luke go on that path too soon. However there is no doubting that Luke has real doubles ability and is relatively struggling to breakthrough in singles, so it's a transition one could see him making in time.

Good week for Luke and Darren! I wonder if in years to come we'll see Luke become a doubles specialist? Way too early to give up his singles aspirations just yet, but he's certainly shown more promise in doubles so far.
Fabulous result, I hope it becomes a regular pairing although can see that their different aspirations may make scheduling difficult. Definitely to be seen as an opportunity for Luke to get some experience of winning regularly while his singles career evolves can only be a positive thing.
Checking to see whether this was Mr. Bambridge's biggest title (I think it is) and also to see where this fit for Mr Walsh discovered a bit of an interesting fact ... Mr Bambridge has now won 13 doubles futures titles with ten different GB partners. Mr Walsh has won 8 futures and one Challenger, but before this weekend had never won a title while playing with a GB partner.
