That was a fantastic battle, well done to Manisha!smile  Over an hour each set, and in the second set, Manisha eventually won on her 5th match point. She served twice for the match, and was up 5-4 and 40-15 first time she had match point, but was eventually broken and two further breaks of serve led to the tie break, which she took control of. Whoever her opponent is, is in an even longer match... 

Hope this week gives Manisha some encouragement to keep going, since it seems to be her last in Sharm (and elsewhere) for the time being.

I have a feeling the MTO was for Manisha from the scoring but somehow she's battled through to the first set. If her partner was the MTO I'm wondering if there is going to be a retirement now...

 Yes, and in Skyrabina's match yesterday, there was a MTO in the third set too. So she may be nursing an injury, but since she won her first game to love in the second set, maybe it's not too debilitating! Manisha also won to 15, so hope they can both keep going now...

Strong serving so far in the second set, Skyrabina the first to blink, Manisha winning the only break point of the set so far. She is now serving to win, can she hold out?
