No sooner did I type the above than the qualifiers did get placed. Ed got possibly the best of the draws.

As I have mentioned on here before, I have seen Guez play live in Marseille. He is a solid but unspectacular player and nothing for Ed to fear. A win against the Frenchman would set up a possible rematch with Dan Evans in the L16, assuming Dan gets through his match tomorrow. 10am start local time (9am UK) and Dan is 4th match on Centre Court, so should be streamed.

Evo finally takes the set in the breaker. Looked like he'd take it a few times earlier on but Caruso battled back a few times.
