We need girls to break at least into the top 300 for starters and Tara and Freya can do that and are top 200 capable. Well Tara has been there already.
Freya is defending 2 points this week then nothing further until 2 points in August and really nothing particularly consequential until September.
Manon is most certainly someone I've never heard of - she's only 15, ranked -2/6 (which is OK - roughly the level of some of our better, but not best, juniors), and has a pretty average results sheet (4 wins above her ranking, 26 wins in total, 11 losses, but nothing that stands out).
It's her first win in adults and obviously a huge one, putting out the WR 344 Slovak, and not surprisingly, there's a nice little write-up about her win today,
