Stupidly loaded for a 50k qualifier. The ITF really need to sort their schedules out...
The other $50K this week's even worse, as the Osprey event always is as everyone based in Florida not still in Miami just drops in on their way home because it's about 5 minutes from everyone's houses!
5 points for winning 3 matches just to qualify here will be well earned !
It is pretty inevitable that there will always be some events that are much stronger than others unless the calendar was absolutely micro managed and that is unrealistic and possibly undesirable too. But maybe the ITF could do a bit more.
To my mind, as things stand, it is more for the players and their advisors to be aware of such divergences and plan their schedules appropriately, bearing in mind how important points, prize money and / or level of opposition and experience is to them individually.

Most ITF competitions this year, with a small number of exceptions, have been overloaded. For those who don't have the means to go globe-trotting to find a weak field this is now a serious issue. Only the favoured few get a look-in
I don't see it as an issue surely low yield weeks like this are the ones in which to either see your family (it is Easter) or work on things that are going toget you to the next step.
Surely, if 'most' ITFs this year have been overloaded, then that's the new norm and they're not overloaded any more. i.e. it's the same for pretty much everyone.
