I found it quite amusing listening to Guy McCrea's commentary, he said on 2 occasions during Hev's last match, that Sloane would be a very tough match because of the H2H, and I thought have you looked at the H2H ?? He then mentioned the H2H/matchup as an explanation why Sloane gained early control of the match, of course we know what happened after that. Sloane doesn't like playing its as simple as that, Fitzy made it clear to me that was the case a couple of years ago. Now if Sloane is firing and Hev's a little bit off, yes she will win but both need to happen.
Anyway thought Hev played a great match after a slow start, whilst Sloane ran out of ideas very quickly once Hev got on top.
Welcome Bob, its not very often we have the pleasure of your company in this part of the forum ;)
Heather was excellent; her clean hitting was forcing Sloane into many of her so-called unforced errors; with some terrific outright winners too. Outstanding win :D

Hmmm... I watched all three of those previous matches against Wickmayer, and wasn't exactly a good luck charm. I also note that my highly scientific method shows that in tournaments where Heather has lost to Wicky, she has won the doubles title 66% of the time; Heatina were champions in both those Stanford & Dallas draws.
Jo gets her campaign under way today...5th up on court 1
Spot on, Vohor! No problems with the schedule now.
I did look on WTA to start with...Jo seemed to be second up...but thought better remember yesterday's memo to self and sure enough 3 ATP matches were unaccounted for by WTA ;)
