Chris Gayle can do that to anybody. When it is his day, there is not a lot anyone can do.

Great chase against SA.

20/20 is a lottery, anyone can win on their day...

Nice to see some smaller nations coming through. The Afghans are useful and should have full ODI status. Ireland are good enough to get test status and the likes of Oman are starting to come through.

Well that was a bit of a finish wasn't it. Congrats to WI for winning the title.

Give it a few years and you will have a classic quiz question. In 2016, WI lost just one match on their way to winning the T20 World Cup. Who beat them in a group game ?

Feel for Mr Stokes, have to say I was feeling quite relaxed watching just before that last over began, thinking what a great effort it was to win this WC. So wish he would have bowled a slightly different delivery after the 2nd one was smacked into the stands, but alas not to be.

The first ball was awful, the last three were 3 inches too short.

It's not the first time, WI and Braithwaite have smashed the ball in the last over to win the match.

I think its the fact that he appeared to be trying to bowl the same delivery every ball, yes the yorker was the call, but why not a slower delivery, a shorter one or one outside the off so that Brathwaite was unable to get any rhythm.
