RE: Week 11 - Israel F5 ($10,000) - Ramat Hasharon (hard)

SO SO pleased for James.

That's his first singles final for Lord knows how long (certainly his first in the last 12 months).

Barbosa beat James 6 months ago in France, 6-4 7-5, in the challenger.

Also beat a lot of other Brits last year (Liam Broady, Aswin, Billy, Max Andrews etc.)

But James seems to be on a huge run this week - allez James !

Excellent week from James and let's hope there is more to come. Then I really WILL start getting excited about his ranking  wink

With 6pts due to drop off soon the points are much needed.  A win tomorrow will be a big help.

First $10k final since December 2014 - lost to Basilashvili in Doha.

His one and only senior title came here, in Ramat Hasharon, in May 2013. Beat three Japanese players in the QF, SF and F.

Marzi's final has started. On serve so far at *1-2 but Marzi did save 4 BPs in his opening service game.

Score not as close as last time.

But, well done, James - best result for the last 12 months - can't ask better than that
