James is hinting that he may be able to break into the top 500 at some stage. Solid performances at this level now.

I would think Bob is quietly hopeful....

But I'm not sure about 'solid' performances.

James got knocked out in R1 last week.

And though he made the semis in Shrewsbury, he lost in qualis at Sunderland the week before to Josh Sapwell.

And lost in qualis at Glasgow.

So it's been a very mixed bag.

Had to save break points in the final game & spurned a couple of match points before he finally converted one.
