My all time favourite Tursunov memory was a Wimbledon one. Remember when Christ Eaton won a round at Wimbledon (defeated some grass court clown) and then Eaton was subsequently heralded as the new Ivo Karlovic. Anyway, in R2 did Tursunov not give him a lesson?

Have to say that my best Tursunov memory was watching him get beaten by James Ward in the DC in Coventry. The crowd certainly got to him that day and he let it show.

We have a lot to thank him for, don't we. That's still just about my favourite DC match of all time (though the French QF and the final this year weren't bad, either, to be understated about it all). But it was just so exciting watching a team that 'shouldn't' have won make the seemingly impossible happen ... and doing it in such thrilling fashion.
