After his decent run at the G1 juniors there came to an end yesterday, Ewan turns his attention to adult tennis:

Ewan won his third round match against Marcel Waloch (WR 1623) but faces the top seed to reach the main draw - Riccardo Bellotti of Italy, WR 273.

totally ridiculous that someone ranked higher than anyone already in the main draw should distort the qualifiers - why not just give them a wildcard into the main draw?

Agree. One of my bugbears....

Ewan lost, predictably, to the defending champion and ultimately the top seed in the main draw, by 1&2.
