Week 11 - Egypt F9 ($10,000) - Sharm El Sheikh (Hard)

Neil and Toby should be in the main draw

Dylan Gee, Keelan Oakley, Marcus Walters and Oliver Hudson all in qualifying

Dylan won his opening round and will play Keelan in Q2

Marcus seems to have a walkover into Q2

On a serious note, I thought the foreign office advice was to not to visit sharm, as the threat is still quite high?

Good point. Technically speaking, the FCO advice has Sharm as a little green spot in a sea of orange and red for the Sinai peninsula. But I heard that Sharm flights to and from the UK have been cancelled again; the business community there is quite unhappy to say the least. That's second hand, though - don't know how accurate it is.

Well done, Ollie !

Two very nice wins against players ranked about 1000 places higher:

Fqr: Oliver HUDSON (GBR) WR 2251 7-6(5) 6-1 Jayesh PUNGLIYA (IND) [8] WR 1144

Keelan I believe is still struggling with his back.

He had a pretty major operation on his back a few years ago. Was out for 12 months. Such a shame if it's still the same thing come back to haunt him. Or, indeed, a new back thing.

Wishing you better, Keelan.

Oliver Hudson has drawn Toby in the main draw - hardly ideal (especially as Toby had Keelan, didn't he, a week back?)

But the argument of at least a guaranteed point for two players in much need still holds true so not all bad.

Neil gets a 22 year-old Qualifier, ranked 1770-ish, CH 1091, so hopefully that should be an easy-ish first round
