Not the greatest trip for Katie - not progressed in the way she had in the GB 10K's and seemed to struggle to hold serve out here, whereas in the UK her service record was much superior.

I think we have to be mindful of the length of time Katie was out and give as much to a 12-18 month window before expecting her to be back to her best. Sounds a long but she was out at a time in her career in which players develop very quickly.

Seeds WR 222-521 - far too strong for 10k. Only Joko, Heather or Naomi would be top seed confuse

I believe Laura D has been struggling a little with her back. Definitely an issue at Wirral, but these tournaments are loaded.

Scoreline not really representative of the closeness of the points is seems. Eden has won 43% of the 61 points.
So getting back in to the swing of things well enough. Just not winning games.
