I'd like to form the Monica defence club.
I really love watching her play - no sarcasm, no irony.
I love the difference, the quirk, the completely unique style.
I love watching power players almost visibly scratching their heads against her - what was that shot? are you serious? - and often fail to solve the riddle of that slice.
It's shades of Connors vs. Ashe, with Jimmy charging around like a bull in a china shop, and unable to understand why his usual physical game isn't beating the man down into submission.
I, for one, will be very sad when Monica retires.

As you were.
Hev doing rather well now, and this one is going along at a somewhat brisker pace than the marathon of Hobart.

Bravo ISF; spoken like a true insomniac ;)
I admit Niculescu is unique and it is up to the player opposite to solve the conundrum so her matches are interesting in that sense; it is anti-tennis to me though almost exclusively relying on your opponent committing an error :(

Wow What a disaster. She was DESTROYING Niculescu at the start of the 3rd then just fell apart. Niculescu didn't do anything different. It was all about Heather.
