Nice to see Lloyd continue his steady rise up the rankings. I don't think it is out of the question that he could make the top 200 and have something of a career on the challenger tour. The serve and forehand combo is a potent one that will win him matches regardless of other weaknesses in his game.

I have never seen him so I am intrigued.
Do you not think he has any top 100 potential? tbh, after Kyle he is all we have got, there is no promising 18-20 year olds. To have a decent career on the man tour, stats would suggest by the age of 22-23, you need to be knocking on the door of the top 100.
His return of serve and backhand are both pretty ordinary, even at futures level. That isn't to say they are hopeless but they definitely aren't the part of his game that wins him matches. Big serve and big forehand is his bread butter, backed up by a good level of fitness and decent(ish) movement.

Top 100 would surprise me, but I guess you never know. You can't look at the age thing too much because he went the US college route and only started playing the tour full time last summer.
Yes, I agree. It's more a question of the progress once started, rather than the absolute age. And he certainly seems to be confirming an excellent profile.
Having played practically no pro tennis, he started off last summer, took a few tournaments to get going, then quickly found good success, consolidated that success pretty nicely over the next few tournaments, and now, a few months later, seems to be moving up to the next level very nicely. Hopefully will be in challengers by summer which, in 12 months, will be just fine.
