Never in doubt ?! Not from where I was sitting, maybe you've overdosed on those positivity pills I was sending you, SC
Maybe I did, but for all that it got a bit tense when he failed to serve out the match at 5-4, I couldn't help feeling that he was still going to find a way to win it. Thankfully, he did & I'm sure he'll have learnt a lot from that match.
I am just coming down off cloud 9, although there is a long way still to come. Great performance from Jamie, Dom yesterday, but Kyle's performance today takes the biscuit. Not just the dominant first 2 3/4 sets, but the nerve to come through when the pressure was on at the end. I am so happy for him and his family, whom I know are out there with him. They must be so proud right now.
Have to say though, that I agree with Indi. Kyle had to win that 3rd set. If Lajovic had taken it, I would have made him favourite, even at 2 set to 1 down.
Argentina at home in the SF. Has to be on indoor fast, so with Evo back in the reckoning (assuming he has a good USA swing over the next few weeks), Leon in going to have a decision to make. Kyle has proved himself to be the King of Clay, but on a faster indoor court, Evo has to be considered. What a great situation to be in though.
Congrats to the whole team and the fans who made the journey.
Czech Republic 1 France 3
USA 2 Croatia 1 - ongoing
Clearly a final against France or USA would be away since we beat each of them at home in last year's glory run. A final against Croatia would be at home.
I see they are playing the dead rubber, and Serbia took the first set 6-2 :(
Seems a strange decision to play it - the other two completed matches haven't
I think if they only play 3 sets on the final day they play the dead rubber
Yes, the rules are that if rubber 4 is no more than 3 sets then they play rubber 5 ( unless both sides agree otherwise? ). It will undoubtably just be best of 3.
The other two rubber 4s today went to 4 sets.

Hopefully it's Croatia then, any idea what surface USA - Croatia is on?
Cilic could beat Isner but Coric would be up against it versus Sock.
