Not a nice result for Dino, but I'm happy for Romain - he'll be dining out on this for a while! 5yrs ago, he was ranked as high as 211, so he is clearly not an idiot. He'll move back into the top 800 with the points from this tournament. I'm guessing that he feels he's given the circuit his best shot and is happy with his life as a club pro and plays just local events...
Not to put too fine a point on it but James having a bad result at an indoor tournament is one of the least surprising things ever. Outside of a couple of Davis Cup wins his indoor record is shockingly bad. Hopefully he can find some form in Mexico.
