Yes, not yet ( ) another WTA tour QF, but still very welcome to see for Katy. After her 5 points due to come off on Monday, which she is more than covering with her 9 so far this week, I see that Katy has nothing at all to defend before Wimbledon. Top 300 beckons again ( indeed the final here wouldn't have her far off ).
Meanwhile Lisa's 10 points ( including her one for qualifying ) have her ( so far ) up about a 100 places to probably just inside the top 650.

Vrljic is getting on a bit and from what I saw, is definitely on the decline and that may be winnable
Stefkova is young and close to a CH, so improving, so will be a tough one, but is at a ranking where Katy should easily be.
The organisers have kindly put Lisa and Katy on first.
Lisa : first on Court 4, 10 am local, 11 pm GMT
Katy : first on Court 5, 10.30 am local, 11.30 pm GMT
The winners of their two QFs will meet in the SF.
With Naomi not due to play her WTA QF in Malaysia until about midday GMT at the earliest and Jo and Heather in Mexico much later tomorrow / following morning, folk can have their beauty sleep after Lisa and Katy tonight.
