van Rijthoven is clearly a fine prospect and has been having a good week, so a close match not unexpected, but that final set doesn't look to have been clever.

So Ed served for the match and Liam was a set and a break to the good, but in the end, neither could get over the line. It could have easily been so different.

van Rijthoven is a talented young player but short of being injured there is no excuse for Liam to lose 8 games in a row to him on an indoor hard court.
