RE: Week 9 - Canada F1 ($25,000) - Gatineau - Hard (indoor)

With the dutchman wining he will get a SE for next week. Should Liam win then Luke should get in otherwise Halebian would probably end up with the other SE meaning Luke would need to qualify for next week.

Bob will be very happy

Ed is out of the top 500 next week so he needs the points (and more) to get back in there straight away.

It must be so nice for him, if he's feeling injury free now.

And now he gets van Rijthoven, who beat Stefan Kozlov in three:

SF: (2) Liam Broady WR 290 v Tim van Rijthoven (NED) WR 579

Well played guys. Yes, CD. I am monitoring Ed's progress closely given his proximity to the drop from the Top 500 and the number of points he has to defend, with 49 coming off this month.

As for Liam, I know he won the 10k recently in Glasgow but this is another step up being a 25k. It has been a long time since Liam has been to a final at this level, so I am really hoping he can end his Baron run against Van Rijthoven. IGMC.

Good luck to both guys in the SFs. Hoping to have split loyalties in the final.

QF:  Ed Corrie WR 458 defeated (6) Deiton Baughman (USA) WR 400 by 5-7 6-2 6-4  biggrin

QF:  (2) Liam Broady WR 290 defeated Alexios Halebian (USA) WR 598 by 3-6 6-4 6-1

******

SF:  Ed Corrie WR 458 vs Alex Kuznetsov (USA) WR 451 (CH = 120 in September 2013)

SF:  Tim van Rijthoven (NED) WR 579 vs (2) Liam Broady WR 290

All together now:  I'm dreaming of an all-Brit final - & divided loyalties...   Don't think it will happen, though.
