Aw! Even when one of ours is the beneficiary, you never like to see someone go Novotna, and Mirjana is in that territory right now.
All to play for then, and I almost stopped watching!

 I love a bit of WTA drama - you can't beat it! Shocked at this turnaround though, L-B looking like snatching defeat from the jaws of victory - come on Jo!

A well chosen drop shot, the first in absolutely ages, brings up 2 BP for Jo, 40-15*
Fought off, but Jo has a third, saved with a brave FH DTL winner.
And Mirjana, to her credit, staggers to a hold.
Can Jo force the breaker?

Not really sure what this match says about expectations, positives, negatives; anything really!
You could write a dissertation trying to understand that match.
Instead I think I'll stick to: weird.
And let's just see what happens next time. (Same Bat-time, same Bat-Channel!)
