A pretty good day for the Brits here, with wins for:

Kivanda, Meehan, Maguire and Roenn (who got in as an ALT and beat Matt Chadwick)

Losses for Chadwick (to Roenn), Henderson and Skinner (who had to retire in set 2).

Goodness knows what happened here but the OoP says that Harry won the first set 6-3. And then retired at 6-6 in the second. ???

If that's true, it sounds major, and horrible.

Eight hours each way.  Still got some work to do before the trip is definite, but hoping to go down overnight Weds and meet up with Beechy on Thurs (who is out the with Joel), before he flies back for DC next week.  Then spend the weekend watching qualies for next week.  I think I counted as many as 9 GB players on the list.
