Katy went an early break up in the 1st set only for Abduraimova to win the next 7 games.

She then went an early break down in the 2nd (that 7th game in a row for Abduraimova) but came back to win it.

She then went a early break up in the decider then had two game points in the next game only to serve consecutive double faults and get broken back. She's now serving to stay in the match ... and has just gone match point down 2-6 6-3 *4-5 30-40

Abduraimova wins 6-2 3-6 6-4

The player who got the first break in each set ended up losing it.

Yeah *3-2 40-15 and back to back doubles totally swung the momentum. Shame that a superb fight gets no reward.

Pity Katy couldn't get over the line for what would have been a very good win in the singles :(
Glad she got some compensation in the dubs with Freya :)

Well done Freya, very convincing win.
That's cheered me up a bit, after Acapulco.
