As I'm sure's been mentioned above, Samir is 18 and was junior WR 13 a couple of years ago.

SHame for Mirabelle to not get a third set out of that match but I can't help feeling slightly pleased, though, that Egypt has a decent young woman tennis player coming through.

The way things had been going, I was actually more concerned about that MP.

Looks to have been a very decent fight though against such a generally good opponent.

Turns out, top junior is quite good.
Mirabelle's improving consistently, and on another day, I get the suspicion that she would have at least pushed this one very close.
I'm already eagerly looking forward to her next outing.
