Chiudinelli reached the final in Manila in last month, so must be in decent form, though the field was relatively weak there by the looks of it.

Sounds like a tough draw, although I don't know how good Chiudinelli is.

Mind you, the bottom half of the draw looks harder. Brown, Herbert, Berrer, Struff and Golubev.

A pretty derogatory Twitter comment from Marcus Willis to Evo about Chiudinelli, referring to him as "the bellpiece" and a "helmet".....

he's a famous @rse and employs the "dark arts" regularly during his matches. Was it a match versus David Rice a year or two ago he behaved like a right tool?

Dan is 2nd match on  AZS Court 2  (not centre court) with  play starting at 11.00.   I think Poland are 1 hour ahead but I'm not certain.  I'm sure Dan's sarcastic wit will get the better of any MC antics.

Disappointing for sure, definitely looked like Dan could win a few rounds here. No panic though, he's allowed an off-day (if indeed that's what this was)
