Week 7 - ATP 250 - Open 13 Provence, Marseille, France (indoor hard) - doubles

All change (for Jonny M), though not a bad choice of playing partner!

R1:  Rameez Junaid (AUS) & Jonny Marray CR 141 (70+71) vs (PR) Johan Brunström & Michal Mertinak (SWE/SVK) UNR (93+0*)

(*) CH = 12 in February 2010

Phew, that was a bit of a close squeak for a moment or two!
Jonny and partner come through on an MTB.

Jonny reached the final here last year with Colin Fleming. Hopefully he can go deep again this week.

Great news to which to come home.  I feared the worst when they dropped that first set:

R1:  Rameez Junaid (AUS) & Jonny Marray CR 141 (69+72) defeated (PR) Johan Brunström & Michal Mertinak (SWE/SVK) UNR (91+0) by 3-6 7-6(5) [10-5]  smile

Haase and Qureshi a dangerous combination; don't really know the others. Good luck to the (part) GB teams!

Great stuff. Playing against Pavic/Venus in the final. Pavic and his then partner, beat Colin and Ross in Marseille 2 years ago despite Colin/Ross having match points. Chance for some payback for Colin.
