It's a repeat from last week. It was filmed some time before the AO.
Edit: - Thanks JonH, I've been meaning to watch it for several days - just watched it on BBC i-player

Naomi is on Question of Sport 21st February .Not sure if this was the episode mentioned above but not given as a repeat. It could be an episode that was cancelled because of another programe and is being shown now.
She's probably secure there until May when she has a lot of points due to drop. Not going to be easy to catch her unless someone actually wins a title. Emily will be only37 points behind, but with a lowest counter of 28 she missed the chance by not making progress at the two recent W100 events in the US.
If Naomi starts playing again she will quickly pull way from anybody else.
Maybe. But she played quite a lot of doubles last year and didn't pull away last year.
Heather and Jo are two whose doubles rankings are very difficult to predict. Don't play much doubles but slip in some bigger tournament big scores every so often.
I could see Sam moving up quite a bit.
As noted before, an end of year GB women's doubles top 10 would be a bit of a tester! And I'd say just #1 not at all easy.

Naomi could be a top 100 player in singles or doubles. Despite Sam's brilliant efforts couldn't see Sam doing that - hopefully she can prove me wrong

Could be / should be / isn't, and hasn't been for a while.
Well I hope Naomi does start competing again, but it's been a while now since she posted anything to do with training, so no way of telling really.
Yes personally I think that Naomi will make more money from commentating - which she is good at - this year than from playing. I'm not convinced she will return in any significant way this year either. She needs a decent coach again and she cannot afford one... I think she may well still play a bit, but don't see her pulling up any trees. She's down to 18 now on the GB rankings and I really don't see her threatening the top 10 again. To do so she's have to invest more than she was prepared to invest even when she WAS inside in the top 100!
Almost forgot about ths thread. As we now know, Naomi must have done a fair bit of training during lockdown, as she was able to play for six weeks in a row in the closed-door events in July and August. Must make an effort and listen to the commentary for a change, rather than watching on Prime.
After Lauras announcement Im wondering if Naomi quietly retired as I cant see anything and shes not played since lockdown. Anybody know?
Hasn't played since ladies and mixed doubles at Wimbledon last year, doesn't seem to be injured (lots of gym pics on Instagram) so I assume she's quit.
