Joe Cooper lost by 3 & 3 to some obscure 17-year-old Uzbek (Sharobiddin Abzalov, UNR) in QR1, but I thought I'd start a thread, as I assume he'll pop up in the doubles.
To defend Joe slightly, I also thought 'who???' when confronted with the 'obscure' Uzbek - and then found out he's the world junior 132 and ex-junior 111, so can't be too shabby....
Well done to Mr Cooper. That's another rotten draw, though. Mr Baluda's current ranking is a bit deceptive - I thought I remembered the name, and he has a doubles CH of 115 in 2014. But if you've upset one team that was a rotten draw, why not another? Good luck!
