Some good matches there. Must admit I'm gutted Liam isn't there I was looking forward to watching him play.

Especially interested to watch Evan Lloyd and Bambo!

Evan has been struggling with injury, might be a surprise there

Sapwell won't beat the talented college graduate Sarmiento, who went well last week.

The rest seem logical

As I normally knock the LTA, just to say that it is good to see the three wildcards for three of our top 100 juniors.

With Ewan Moore, the other top 100 junior, having received his last week.

It's hardly a big deal (and a LONG way from a major training contract!) but it is one way that the federation can support its up-and-coming youngsters.

Jay would certainly seem to have the best chance. And shame for Ryan to get the very top seed but there's nothing you can do about draws.

Good luck to all three of them (and Luke Oakley, the fourth GB junior to be in the MD)

The men's matches have started.

The youngsters' courts - no 1 and 2 - seem to be in the Wifi blackhole, so no idea what Ryan or Jay are up to.

Dave and Lloyd are 3-3, all going with serve.

Neil P is 1-4 down

And after 20 mins, Luke is still on game number 2, which has had about 15 deuces. He's 0-1 down, but currently at deuce for the umpteenth time on his opponent's serve

 I'm in Geneva airport at the moment so it's a bit tricky. If I'm in one piece and suitably refreshed there's every chance I'll be there tomorrow. Jaffa I think might be there.

I would call that "dereliction of duty" but I think you had a pretty good excuse to be in Israel wink

Lloyd edged out Dave R in a 1st set TB 7-5
Neil lost the 1st set 6-3 but is on serve at 3-2* in the 2nd
Luke O is involved in a strange match. Currently *4-4 but 6 breaks in 8 games so far.

Ev beat Jay 6-3, 6-2. He was up a break 3-2 in the 2nd earlier.
