That's a terrific win against Grigelis.  Certainly didn't expect him to come through that one or even be particularly close.  Have seen Lloyd Harris as a junior and he had a good solid all round game but I'm surprised to see how high he has risen in the adult rankings.  Never realised his full name - that's quite a moniker!!

And Keelan concludes a 'good day at the office', winning his doubles, with his partner, in two sets, beating the top seeds

QF:  Keelan Oakley & Matthias Wunner (GER) CR 1868 (1186+682) defeated (1) Sriram Balaji & Vishnu Vardhan (IND/IND) CR 729 (285+444) by 7-6(6) 6-4

****

SF:  Keelan Oakley & Matthias Wunner (GER) CR 1868 (1186+682) vs Laurent Rochette & Thibault Venturino (FRA/FRA) CR 1911 (835+1076)

Keelan clearly on a roll!   The Frogs despatched the fourth seeds in straight sets, but nevertheless, I'd've thought, a chance...

Quite a match going on out in Egypt.

Keelan was a break down for a lot of the first but squeaked it on a breaker.

Harris won the second easily and went a break up in the third. Keelan recovered it at 3-4* but then lost his serve from 40-0 in the next game.

Harris, then serving for the match had 2 match points but DFd on one of them, and Keelan broke back.

*5-5

Keelan had two break points in the final game but couldn't force a tiebreak.

Still a great week!

Pity, successive very impressive looking performances by Keelan.

Pointswise the QF is never a good point to lose in futures, but continue to perform at that level and there will be more coming Keelan's way.
