Delighted that Neil was able to clinch the victory, tough for Dan, who served for it at 5-4 in the third.
But Neil kept fighting, throughout the second set when he saved 4 or 5 set points before going down in the breaker and then in the final set. Tough match for anyone to lose, but glad that Neil was able to maintain the good form he showed at the back end of last year.
Will be very interesting match between Neil and Luke, both of them ended 2015 well, both of them have few points to defend for 6 months, and both of them have started 2016 with a good First round win, should be a great match!
Crazy. Richard Gabb was down 1-6 vs Milton in the first set tiebreak and won SEVEN points on the trot to take the tiebreak 8-6. Milton must be kicking himself...
Josh S v Liam now underway. Would love to see Josh S burst on to the scene in a big way. Don't know much about him other than what has been said on here but sounds like a very good prospect if he can avoid injury.
However, I just hope he doesn't start today. Really want to see Liam go deep this week, get some confidence and get back to being competitive on the Challenger tour.
