Well Done Dan!

Only saw the latter part of the 2nd set but what I saw was highly impressive.

Perhaps should add that Evo won 2&3

Evo is on top form this week. Serving well, good court coverage and hitting the ball well.

That was a comprehensive win.

Poor Frat boy must be sick of the sight of Evans. 4 times in the space of 3 months just seems cruel.

You can tell when Evo is feeling good - that top spin and flat backhand come more and more into play.

He certainly made that look easy.

On a more serious note it is simply wonderful to see Dan playing like this. His level of focus seems to excellent and there is finally a level of consistency to his game that has always been sadly lacking. It isn't just the odd flash in the pan, ever since Wimbledon last year his level has been good week in week out. I am starting to feel genuinely confident that Dan has finally grown out of his bad old ways and is determined to make the most of his career.

Somebody said the win against Rublev is the best they've seen Dan play in a while. Today topped that performance again. Clean striking, confident and focused play. And yes the backhand up the line in all its glory. Saved all 3BPs against, almost untouchable on the first serve. Really good win

Interesting to see that Hilts is over in Dallas. Presumably has the short straw of looking after Evo.

A cruise for Kyle in the first set, even though he had a poor opening service game.

What have I been telling you. I was mocked for saying this was 'new Evo' but I really think his long spell out forced him to consider life without Tennis and his focus since then has been exceptional. So exciting to see.

Sure there'll still be ups and downs, but he is showing a level of consistency we've never seen before.

Yes.  What I saw was superb.  All three of those BPs that he saved came in the very last game when he was serving for the match.  Up to then, he hadn't faced any at all.

Kyle looking a bit flat. Not hitting with the normal power on the forehand. Tighter second set.
