It's very nice to be in a win-win situation in a big challenger final isn't it?
As said may the best man win, but I have to be honest and say I'm routing for Dan tonight. They're both on an upward trajectory but I feel like the extra points would do more for Dan than they will for Kyle, who I can only see going on to dominate challengers and do well at tour level this year. I won't be disappointed either way, and second the above - kudos to Hilts for his work with the lads this week

At the interval at 6-5 in the first set, the camera cuts to Hilton and Evans on their phones. Mike C comments that "I can say this much... Dan Evans, DMing me on twitter right now."

Although James was the man who was going to be turned to if the Davis Cup Final had gone to a deciding rubber, got to think that as of now Kyle and Dan are ahead for Birmingham.

It will no doubt in the end be about a bit more than this meeting, but it's a big chance to send out a message that in a big match between the two they've produced and come out on top. And it won't harm them going forward in their general season. All good.

regarding match time.  our doubles final will start at 7pm central.  lets say over no later than 830pm.  awards presentation and i'd say singles take the court around 9pm
